The Cavaliers have traded for Los Angeles Clippers point guard Baron Davis, according to multiple reports early Thursday morning.

In exchange for Davis and the Clippers’ first-round pick in June’s NBA Draft, the Cavaliers send to Los Angeles point guard Mo Williams and forward Jamario Moon. Moon played in Wednesday night’s home loss to Houston, while Williams sat out.

The Cavs continue to stockpile draft picks, with the Clippers’ selection giving them 17 picks — 10 of their own, seven acquired through trades, including those in the sign-and-trade with Miami for LeBron James — between now and 2015. The Clippers, if the season ended today, would have the eighth-worst record in the league.
